Approved Driving Instructors for cars and fleet (ADIs); motorcycle instructors; passenger carrying vehicle instructors; and large goods vehicles instructors. It provides insight into the principles and processes of driving instruction and will aid career progression.

This NVQ is designed for those people who are either training to become, or who are already working as, driving instructors. When you have completed the Level 3 NVQ in Driving Instruction, you will be gaining recognition for your experience in the key areas of:

1. providing high quality instruction
2. ensuring the safety of yourself and others
3. offering a service that is responsive to individual needs
4. guiding and managing the learning process
5. staff and business management
