Emergency First Aid and Fire Evacuation for Bus and Coach

This classroom and vehicle based, 7 hour course, is designed to cover a variety of topics in an interesting and interactive manner, to support drivers to improve and develop their overall knowledge of their industry and their responsibilities.  

The topics covered are Safe Passenger Evacuation, Understanding Fire Causation and Emergency First Aid (This course does not provide First Aid Certification). 

The session follows a Workshop style delivery method and draws on the attendees existing knowledge and understanding.

While attending this course your trainer will encourage you to participate in discussions and exercises that will reinforce your existing knowledge, and present new and updated information for you to consider and implement throughout your  working day.  Your trainer will support you to gain as much from the day as possible and to ensure that your are developing and achieving your full potential.

Within the framework of the DriverCPC no ‘end test' or examination is required for you to meet the criteria, and Tangerine will register your attendance with DSA to ensure you accumulate the required number of Periodic Training Hours.  This course counts as 7 of your required 35 Periodic Training Hours.
